Matchbox Art Workshop

Bring your own unique style and visual pleasures to the medium of matchboxes!

Session leader, Rebecca St. Martin, will share her collection of matchbox art, including Themed Boxes, Blessing Boxes and others. She will also show you what other artists have done with matchboxes. Then, you’ll make some matchbox art of your very own. These tiny vessels can inspire you to think in three dimensions, work on a smaller scale and play with a variety of different supplies.

All the tools and materials you need will be supplied; however, if you have any photos of loved ones you might like to honor or commemorate or artwork you would like to re-purpose, please bring those. A black and white photocopier will be available for your use if you’d prefer not to clip them.
