Beef Broccoli Pie

BEEF BROCCOLI PIE (Nancy Butler)

2 lbs ground beef
1 chopped onion (med)
3 tbls flour
1 beaten egg
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 pkgs Crescent rolls
8 oz. Pkg frozen broccoli
6-8 oz shredded/grated Monterey Jack Cheese

Brown onions and beef in pan. Transfer to a bowl. Add flour and toss to coat. Add the egg, cream cheese and salts. Mix well. Spread one package of crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9 x 13 greased cake pan forming in up the sides of the pan. Spread the meat in the pan. Layer the frozen broccoli over the meat then spread the grated cheese. Form the second package of crescent rolls over the top of the broccoli and bake at 350 degrees for 40 mins.

Allow to cool 5-10 mins before serving.
