Artist's Statement

A lifelong, mostly self-taught artist, Rebecca St. Martin has learned from watching and experimenting. Rebecca believes that everyone is creative, and she is inspired by the talents of others. She works in many media, favoring “found objects” and generates small work that studies the female form, nature and abstractions. Her own work includes products such as handmade cards, watercolor and acrylic paintings, ink and pencil drawings, dream catchers, jewelry, photography, sculpture, hand painted glassware, poetry, ACEOs, and most recently, puppets and matchboxes.
